In the past century, the culture  of human beings has developed the fastest in the human’s history. This leads to rapid  increase in population, advanced technology and the build up of many big cities, such as  Hong Kong.  One hundred and fifty  years ago, it  was a small town with some fishing villages.  But now,  it has become an international city. Many people like to live in big cities, as such as Tokyo, New York, Washington, London and Paris , which are commercial centres and highly populated areas. These  cities have good network of transportation, various recreational facilities, high living standards, many job opportunities and high wages. However, I prefer to live in a small town, such as Tu-on in kwangsi, China .

Although living in Tu-on  cannot provide me with a diversified living, a tranquiller and healthier living is much better. Behind the affluence, I enjoy a quiet life.  A big city is always very noisy. The whole city is hustle and bustle  every day. So the citizens there are under stress. But in Tu-on , I can enjoy a simple life. Without the bad effect of noise  and pressure, I  can live happily.  I live with the nature, with beautiful mountains. It creates  beauty. It  is a better environment. There is no air pollution problem. The air is clean and fresh.   I can have a sound health .

Yet I  have a lower living standard in Tu-on  than Hong Kong . The rents, consumption of money are low  compared with Hong Kong. In Hong Kong, the rent and price of properties and land are the highest  in the world. As a result, many people live in small places. How can s four-person family  live comfortably in a less than fifty cubic meter room ? In Hong Kong, the products and services there are very expensive. Although the wage is high, the cost of living is also high. So many people are in debt. This is similar to loss of freedom. In light of living in a low living standard, I prefer to live in Tu-on..
