     Nowadays, most of the parents do not allow their children always watch television as they think that television is bad for them. If children always watch television, they will not concentrate on their studies . However, I think differently . In this essay, I will argue that to watch television is not bad for children

     Children can learn knowledge from television programs. They can watch some English cartoons like Sesame Street. They can learn improve their English standard through watching these television programs. Moreover, they can watch some Putonghua television programs and try to learn Putonghua. I think it will raise their interests in learning English and Putonghua via television programs.

    Children can watch some educational television programs. With visual effect, children can easily remember the pictures shown. What’s more, they can watch some nature, science educate television programs in order to enrich their knowledge. Moreover, they can understand easily nature with visual effects. Thus, watching  television broaden children’s horizons.
