  Many people always think that young people have nothing to teach older people. In fact, it is not the case. To help older people to cope with the advancement of the world, young people can teach older people about technology, new culture and the like. In this essay, I will argue that young people can teach older people.

Youngsters can teach older people how to apply advanced technology to their daily life.  Nowadays, the technology is advanced. Computer operation is common. They can teach older people to operate computer, to access the  Internet. Moreover, they can teach older people to send and receive  e-mail, to play ICQ, search for information though the Internet. Therefore, older people can access the  Internet to communicate with others. Besides, they can teach older people how to watch VCD or DVD in order to have entertainment. .

To narrow down the gap between the older and the young, young people can teach the older people the sub-culture. Older people usually have different concepts  and traditional culture, therefore, young people can teach them Most of the older people should know some social dances, youngsters can teach them some new dances like para para, jazz, to list just a few. Moreover, they can go to karaoke with older people. I think older people can more enjoy their life.

All in all, young people can teach older people if they have time. I think youngsters can try their best to teach older people patiently . Meanwhile, older people should have the imitative to learn new knowledge.
