        I do not agree that  people gain success because of hard work but not luck. In fact,  luck is a part of success. Without luck, people will never be successful  Luck plays a major role in success. In this essay, I am going to explain the reasons for luck being important to make things successful.

        Since success is not usually made by one person, but team work.  We must be lucky to meet a good partner. For example, to be a successful athletic, we must have a good coach to design some training programmes. In addition,  when the athletic takes part in the competition, there must be a good condition for him to have good performance. Those good conditions are weather and venues . This all are out of our control and we depend mainly on luck. If the competition is held on a rainy day and therefore it affects our performance, we  will never be a successful athletic although we put a hard effort on it.

        To conclude, success must include both hard work and luck. In fact, hard work plays a major role in it and luck is just a  variable that is out of control. However, if we  really put hard effort on something, success will not be far.
