Scene 1 Venue: Faygo¡¦s Home Time: Morning

Mother: Faygo, here is your letter!

Faygo: (Mother is giving the letter to Faygo.) Thanks mum!

[Faygo opens the letter.]

Faygo: (Happy) Yeah! I¡¦ve got it!

Mother: Is it about the Cert result?

Faygo: Yup, I¡¦ve got 14 points.

Mother: That¡¦s great, my dear child ! (She puts her hand on his shoulder)

What¡¦s your plan then?

Faygo: I want to find a job!

Mother: Why don¡¦t you continue your study?

Faygo: No, I want to support the family.

Mother: I think you can make your own decision.

Faygo: Thanks, mum!

Scene 2 Venue: Office Time: Morning

[Faygo is waiting for an interview of a job at the office.]

[Faygo knocks the door.]

Miss Ma: Come in.

Faygo: Good morning, Miss Ma

Miss Ma: Please sit down.

Miss Ma: Please introduce yourself in 2 minutes. (Miss Ma sets up a stop-watch.)

Faygo: (He is thinking and frightened.)¡K¡K

[Faygo leaves the office.]

Scene 4 Venue: Street corner (after school) Time: Morning

[Faygo and his friends were taking drugs.]

[Suddenly, 2 policemen broke into the house.]

Police(a): Freeze! Spread them!

[Faygo and his friends followed the instructions.]

[Policemen searched for them and took them back to a police station.]

Venue: Counselling centre Time: Morning

[Faygo sat down and was scared. He was too tired.]

[Candy was coming.]

Candy: (She put her hand on Faygo¡¦s shoulder) Faygo, are you OK? No matter how hard you are, you must not give up.

Faygo: I can¡¦t stand it. I want to die.

Candy: (loudly and punishing) Don¡¦t give up! Do you remember what you have promised when you come here? You want to seek a normal life.

Faygo: But I am so tired!

Candy: Don¡¦t worry! I will be on your side.

Venue: Classroom Time: Next day morning

[The bell rang.]

Teacher: Good morning class.

Candy: Are you crying, Faygo?

Faygo: No, just have something in my eyes!

Narrator: Crying is good for health because it can relieve the bad mood. Therefore, if you want to cry, just cry!

[Faygo cried loudly.]

Scene 5 Venue: Counselling Centre Time: Evening

[Faygo comes back to  reality.]

Faygo: (sure) I should not be back to my past.

I must try my best to find a job!

[After that day, Faygo always read newspaper to look for a job. ]

Scene 6 Venue: Office Time: Morning

[Faygo knocks the door.]

Faygo: Good morning.

Lee: Good morning. Sit down please.

[Faygo sits down.]

Faygo: I was a drug addict when I was young. But, I have corrected and I now start a new life. Before this interview, I was looking for many jobs, but all failed because of my past.

Lee: Then...

Faygo: (eager) I didn¡¦t give up. I promise that I won¡¦t make you disappointed. More than that, I have to find a job to support my living. So, I hope you can give me a chance.

Lee: That¡¦s very honest of you! You know, there are not many people who are as honest as you. OK, you are now employed. Get ready to work at 9 next Monday.

Faygo: Thank you!

Scene 7 Venue: Faygo¡¦s Home Time: Evening

[All people in Faygo¡¦s Home cheer.]

All: Cheer!

Candy: I am so glad that you can reach your goal and find a job. Remember ¡§there is a will, there is a way¡¨!

Faygo: Thank for your support! I will do my best and won¡¦t make you disappointed.

Mother: You¡¦ve grown-up now. Take care of yourself. I will respect all your decision.

[Faygo nods his head.]

Friends: Come on, Faygo. Let¡¦s play!
