Toy story 2

On 12 Feb 2000, I went to Tsuen Wan Broadway to watch a film with my sister. It was Toy Story 2. It was a kind of computer animation. The main theme of the story is to portrays how toys feels when being abandoned as the owners grow up. The creators expanded further on it. The story was full of feeling and fun. In this report, I am going to recommend this film to you.

The main characters of the story were Woody and Buzz Lightyear. Andy was a little boy who owned Woody and Buzz, and all the other toys, such as, Hamm, Rex. One day, Andy needed to go to a camp. Since Woody was damaged by Andy carelessly before, he left it behind. As a result, the story began. When Woody saved his friend from being sold at the old-market, he was stolen by a toy collector, Big Al. He wanted to ship Woody to a toy museum in Japan in order to earn money, as he was famous on the TV in the 50s and he was a collectible toy. He had his own cartoons and films. At the very beginning, Woody did not want to go to Japan. He missed Andy and his friends. However, he wanted to play with Andy and his friend again with happiness. Yet, he decided to leave them later as he was afraid Andy would discard him when he grows up. He did not want to be isolated. He decided to retire in the museum. In the toy collector’s office, Woody not only discovered his reputation on the TV in 50s, but also made friends, such as, Cowgirl, Bullseye the horse. They all owned by Big Al.

On the other hand, Buzz and his friends were worried about Woody. They started to rescue Woody without hesitation from Big Al. During their journey, they came across many problems, for example, they found difficult to cross the road as they walked very slow, and they were very tired after walking a long time. Luckily, they all arrived at the destination. When they arrived, they persuaded Woody to leave and went back to Andy’s home. At that time, Woody refused to leave them. He enjoyed with Cowgirl and Bullseye. After that, Buzz and his friends were very disappointed. Buzz and his friend tried to persuade him again. Then, Woody’s decision started to waver. He changed his mind. During Woody wavered his decision, Buzz and his friends left through the small tunnel. Finally Woody realized that friends were vital. The role of the toy was to make children play with them, let them hold in his/her arms. Yet, one of the Cowgirl’s friends prevented Woody to leave. At the same time, Big Al arrived at the office and went to the airport in order to go to Japan. Therefore, Buzz needed to save Woody again at the airport. At the airport, they tried their best to save him. At least, they all went to Andy’s to have a happy life.

After watching this film, I think it was worthy recommending. When Woody arrived at the toy collector’s office, he made friends with Cowgirl. Cowgirl told her background to him. Her owner discarded her when she grew up. Then her mother threw her at the voluntary market. After that, Big Al locked her in the black box before Woody occurred. She felt lonely and hopeless. At this part, the creators described Cowgirl feeling in detail. That impressed me very much.

.Apart from the Cowgirl background, I admired Buzz very much. He saved Woody without considering his danger as Woody saved him before. Friends can share their ups and downs They can come across the trouble together. Recently, most people in Hong Kong will leave their friends when their friends have troubles. They merely played with their friends, but not shared with their friends. I found difficult to see a friendship like Buzz and Woody nowadays.

Besides, the hi-teach computer tactics also impressed me. For me, it was my first time to see the computer animation. Computer animation is totally different from the cartoons. The three-dimensional feel of it enthralled me very much. It can make the animation more real.

All in all, although the film - Toy Story 2 judged about 75 minutes, there is no downside to it. We can fully enjoy it. In my opinion, it not only makes us have fun, but also reminds our memory about youth. All people like to play toys when they are young. Yet, there are fewer people who will care about feeling of their own toys. After seeing that film, I realize that toys had feeling. We should not abandon them when we grow up, like our parent. We should not ignore our parents when we can live independently. Whenever you are adults or not, you can still enjoy of it. So I think it is suitable for all people who like animation.
