Set 3 Set 3 Impact of violenprograms on young generation

Recently, there is an increase in violent play because of super hero TV programs and video games. Students like to imitate the super hero who acts in the video. Thereby, we are asked to set a questionnaire to the younger students about the impact of violent programs on them. In this discussion, we will discuss what questions well ask, as well as how to present the result to the public.

First of all, Id like to talk about what questions that we are going to ask the younger students. We can ask them do to watch the violent programs. We also list some super hero programs after the question, e.g., Power Roger, Dragonball etc so as to let them tick a box if they have watched these programs. Additionally, we can set a question  about the frequency of watching the violent programme. Similar to the first question, we can provide some boxes to students about the range of time, such as two hours a week, five hours a week and seven hours a week. The third question we would ask who are super heroes and the last question is whether they imitate the super hero.

Well talk about how to present the result in this part. A talk, a video and an exhibition are some of the methods but we can choose to present our results. If we choose a talk, which is an easier means to show the result. We just need to report the result in the morning assembly or we can hold a talk at the hall after a lesson so that all  students can know the result.

Apart from a talk, we can hold an exhibition for a week. The result can be shown on a display broad. In order to attract students, we can present the information in the form of colorful pictures, pie chart on the broad. In addition, the advantages of an exhibition are that we can show more extra information about violence to our students, such as, the newspaper clippings, the statistics of the crimes in our district etc. Moreover, as it can be held for one week, time is flexible to students who want to have a visit. Furthermore, games can be set in the exhibition. We can transmit the message Violent does not prime to  students. However, it is time consuming for the preparation.

In my opinion, I suggest  having an exhibition is the best means to show the result. It is more impressive than a talk. On the other hand, video is more costly. We need to find some equipment to make a video program and the process is complicated. Therefore, it is difficult for us to do. Anyway, we can consult our teacher for the final decision.

All in all, watching TV and playing video games are some forms of entertainment in life. However, I dont agree that students addict to playing video games. By the way, I do hope our research can be successful.
