Launch a new account for young people

A bank is going to launch a new account for young people. We are going to take part in a discussion to help them make the account attractive to young people. Furthermore, taking sticker photos is prevalent in Hong Kong and Japan. When young people go out, they may want to take some sticker photos as it is funny and commemorative. Some people are also keen on collecting sticker photos. Therefore, the amount of money that youngsters spend on sticker photos is quite considerable. On the other hand, for those who are rich, they may spend more money on luxuries. As we all know, it is common that people in Hong Kong have their own mobile phones. Therefore, young people will spend their money on mobile phones and others luxuries such as brand name products, say Calvin Klein. Moreover, youths will also spend their money to attend some outside school courses and tutorial classes. Some of them may also use their money to go on some overseas trip with their friends rather than their parents.

Then, we should discuss how we save our money. As I know, most youngsters only save their money in bank accounts that are usually with low interest, or just simply save the cash in saving boxes at their places.

Therefore, I think having a young people’s bank account is a good idea. It can help us to enhance self-control and foster a saving habit because it is important for all of us to save money. Additionally, some young people do not spend their money wisely, so having a bank account may help them save more money and waste less. The large amount of money saved can be used for emergency use anyway.

We can also make some suggestions to make the account attractive to young people. Issuing a card to them will be sound as it is convenient that they can withdraw money whenever they like, as sometimes, we really ‘run out of cash’. Offering a higher saving interest to them, issuing pop stars’ concerts tickets coupons and special discount in shops can also attract more young people to open new bank accounts.

By and large, having a bank account is ultimately good for us. We can save more money. Then we have a clear mind that we should not waste money.
