        Our English teacher Miss Wong will return to Canada soon. Our class wants to organize a surprise farewell for her.

        We all know that Miss Wong is interested in food, so we think that having a buffet can provide a variety of food. As in Canada, there are fast-food shops. She may not have a chance to eat Chinese food there. Some of my friends who live in Canada have told me that although Canada has different kinds of restaurants, the taste of the food is monotonous .  It is very expensive when compared to  Hong Kong. So we want to give Miss Wong a chance to taste different kinds of food.

        There are some kind of food we should have, such as Chinese food, Thai food and Japanese food. These three kinds of food are not popular in Canada, so there are not many good restaurants served these three kinds in Canada. There are many different types of Chinese food such as Guongdong food, Shanghai food and the like. We think that we better include different types of Chinese food. Recently, Japanese food is popular, as they are delicious and healthy. Sushi is the most popular Japanese food in Hong Kong. Many people like Sushi. We think that Miss Wong will like it, too . For Thai food, it is delicious and quite popular now. As Miss Wong like spicy food, so we think that we should include Thai food as well.

        We can hold our party in a restaurant which only provides buffet.  Those  restaurants can provide variety of food.  The price are reasonable and we can afford it, around $130 per head  As now we are having our summer holiday,  most of the classmates is free on weekdays. So that we can hold the party on weekdays so the price is cheaper.  We can be easier to book the buffet than at the weekends.

We plan invite Miss Wong and  our form teacher to join the party. All classmates will be informed and welcomed to take part in our farewell party.  If  any teachers and students want to join, we welcome them to join. But they have to pay their expense, around 140. Our class will pay only our form teacher  and Miss Wong’s expenses

        There is one thing that is very important; we want to give Miss Wong a surprise. We think that we will not tell her anything about the farewell party. However, how do we to invite her?  One of our classmates will try to invite her, but  he/she will not let her know that our whole class will take part until she has arrived at the restaurant. Is it a good idea?

        All in all, Miss Wong has helped us to improve English. Our class really likes Miss Wong very much. We all miss her. So we want to give her a surprise before she leaves. So that she can remember us .
